Jackson is in all respects one of the greatest men's gymnasts in school history.  He was a three-time All-American, the first in school history, and won the 2004 NCAA title on the parallel bars, one of just two national champions ever at W&M.  As a senior in 2006, he was named a finalist for the Nissen-Emery Award, the Heisman of college gymnastics.  Jackson also won six USAG collegiate national titles as part of 16 USAG All-American awards, earning All-American honors in five disciplines each of his last two years.  As a team, the Tribe won USAG National title all four years Jackson was part of the line-up.

In the EIGL (conference), Jackson was a 10-time All-East performer with four conference championships, finishing with five and two (respectively) as a senior in 2006.  That year earned W&M its first EIGL team trophy since 1994.  He helped lead W&M to the NCAA Championships in three of his four years, and three of W&M's six total NCAA appearances.  Jackson graduated with the W&M school record (for his scoring era) in the all-around, vault, and parallel bars, and ranked fifth in the floor exercise, fourth in the rings, and fourth in the high bar.  He was named the Senior Athlete of the Year in 2005-06.
