Athletics Competitive History
W&M has been a member of the NCAA since 1936-37, and has appeared in the national tournaments or bowl games 264 times.
Since the NACDA Director Cup standings began in 1993-94, W&M has placed among the top 100 on 14 occasions. The Tribe led the CAA on 12 occasions and ranked among the top three in the state of Virginia 13 times. The Tribe's best finish came in 1997 at No. 42.
