A key cog during one of the most successful runs in Tribe women's soccer history, Lindsey Vanderspiegel Martin was a dominant player in her four years in the program.  A four-time All-CAA selection, she became the first female soccer player in league history to earn all three top player awards in a career (Rookie of Year, 2000; Player of Year, 2002; and Tournament MVP, 2001).  Her play helped the Tribe earn three CAA Titles (2000, 2001, and 2003) and make four-straight NCAA Championship appearances.  Vanderspiegel earned four all-CAA honors and was named to the All-Tournament team three times.  Additionally, she was recognized on the national scale, by being named to a pair of freshman All-America teams and was named to the 2002 NSCAA First-Team All-Region squad.
