RICHMOND, Va. – Keeley Suzenski didn't need any extra luck on Friday.
Competing in Richmond's Fred Hardy Invitational, the William & Mary standout simply opened her outdoor season in the same way she wrapped up her indoor—setting records and making history. Happy St. Patrick's Day, indeed.
Suzenski broke her own school record in the shot put, finishing first in the event at 15.02m (49-03.50). She was the only competitor to place over 15m on the day, easily eclipsing her previous record of 14.97m that she set at last season's ECAC Championships.
That wasn't all, either.
In the discus, Suzenski added another first-place performance at 43.36m (142-03) and, in the hammer throw, finished second with a brand-new PR at 56.55m (185-06).
