Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction during the fall semester … A W&M Provost  Award winner.
Cross Country:  Appeared in all four regular season meets … Scored for the Tribe at the Christopher Newport Invitational (9/13/24), placing fifth on the team in 23:16.78 … Posted top-100 finishes at the Spider Alumni Open (53rd in 15:14.3), the Pirate Cross Country Invitational (89th in 23:37.8), and the Panorama Farms Invitational (96th in 23:14.8).
Indoor Track & Field: Won the 3,000m at the East Coast Invitational (2/7-8/25) in 10:21.27 … Set a personal best in the 3,000m at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational (2/14-15/25), posting a mark of 10:18.97 … Set a personal best in the mile at the Dick Taylor Carolina Challenge (1/17-18/25), crossing the line in 5:20.98 … Set a personal best in the 5,000m at the Brant Tolsma Invitational (1/23-25/25), finishing in 18:09.27 … Placed 15th in the 5,000m at the CAA Championships (2/26-27/25).
Outdoor Track & Field: Set a personal best in the 1,500m at the Dan Stimson Memorial Invitational (3/29/25), placing third and posting a mark of 4:53.78 … Set a personal best in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Colonial Relays (4/3-5/25), crossing the line in 11:30.94 … Placed 13th in the 3,000m steeplechase at the CAA Championships (5/14-15/25).

2023-24 Season
Named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll during the fall.
Cross Country: Ran in five of six events … Was the Tribe’s sixth runner at the CAA Championships (10/27/23), finishing in 42nd with a time of 22:40.9 … Earned top-50 finishes in the Spider Alumni Open (43rd in 15:09.5) and the Adidas XC Challenge (45th in 18:58.2) … Placed 119th (23:03.4) at the Virginia XC23 Pre-Nationals (10/14/23)
Indoor Track & Field: Placed 18th at the CAA Championships (2/22-23/24) in the 5000m (18:38.57) … Won the 3000m at the George Mason Patriot Games (1/26-27/24) in a time of 10:34.49 … Placed fourth in the 3000m (10:37.33) at the Navy Select (2/16/24) … Finished fourth in the 3000m (10:40.73) at the Navy Indoor Invitational (12/2/23) … Ran a career-best 18:33.47 to finish 11th in the 5000m at the Brant Tolsma Invitational (1/18-20/24).
Outdoor Track & Field: Tallied an 11th-place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase (12:16.54) at the CAA Championships (5/10-11/24) … Finished third in the 2000m Steeplechase (7:57.42) at the Dan Stimson Memorial Invitational (3/16/24) … Notched a fifth-place showing in the 3000m Steeplechase (12:02.51) at the Fred Hardy Invitational (3/22/24) … Placed sixth in the 1500m (5:04.14) at the CNU Blue & Silver Challenge (3/30/24).

2022-23 Season
Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction. 
Cross Country: Finished top-70 at the CAA Championship (10/28/22)… Notched a top-15 finish at the Christopher Newport Regional Preview (9/16/22).
Outdoor Track & Field: Ran in the 3,000m steeplechase at the CAA Championships (5/5/23). 
 
2021-22 Season
Cross Country: Competed for the Tribe at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship (11/12/21)… Placed top-45 at the CAA Championship (10/30/21)… Finished in 37^th at the Virginia XC23 Invitational (10/15/23)… Suited up for the Green and Gold at the Paul Short Run (10/01/21)… Posted a top-50 finish at the Virginia Invitational on Sept. 17… Made her collegiate debut at the William & Mary Invitational (9/11/21), placing 4th in 19:48.43 Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction. 

Prep 
An all-state performer on the track and in cross country … As a senior, was part of the indoor state runner-up 4x800m relay … Placed fourth individually at the indoor state meet in the 1,600m … Won indoor region titles in the 4x800m relay, 1,600m and 4x400m relay in 2021 … During the 2021 outdoor season was the region runner-up in the 4x800m relay and 1,600m and placed third in the 800m … Earned the Cross Country Bruin Coaches Award and Bruin Leadership Award in 2021 … Finished 10th at the 2020 cross country state championship to earn all-state honors … Was the region runner-up in cross country in 2020 … During the 2020 indoor season, was an all-region finisher in the 1,000m and 3,200m … Garnered all-state honors in 2019, finishing 15th at the state cross country meet … Was also an all-region finisher in cross country in 2019 … During the 2019 outdoor season, ran a leg on the region-winning 4x800m relay and was an all-region finisher in the 1,600m … As a freshman, was named the Cross Country Blacksburg High School Most Improved Award … A 2020 AP Scholar with Honor … A member of the French National Honor Society, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Science National Honor Society … Served Vaccination Clinic Volunteer.

Daughter of Michael Griggs and Amy Cowan … Born in Brugg, Switzerland … Mother, Amy, ran track for Virginia Tech for three years … Father, Michael, played soccer for Virginia Tech for four years … Enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and going out to local restaurants.
