BLACKSBURG, Va. — Padding the record books is becoming a weekly tradition for the William & Mary men's indoor track & field team. On Friday, at the Doc Hale VT Meet, it was
Jackson Cooley's turn to add his name to the metaphorical pages.
The junior from Reston, Va. ran a 6.89 in the 60m — a PR that now ranks him as the second all-time performer in the event Green and Gold history.
Also continuing to record his performances in Tribe lore was
Austin Rice. The freshman ran the eighth-fastest 400m time in program history with a 49.13. The finish earned him fifth place, while
Daniel Layton was 17
th (51.23) and
Cole Harris was 21
st with a PR of 52.50.

Jason Nwosu finished 13
th at 15.18m (49-9.75).
Long Jump
Ethan Buenviaje was 17
th at 6:49m (21-3.5).
Running Events
60m Hurdles
Daniel Layton competed in the final of the event after posting a time of 8.20 in the prelims; the second-fastest in W&M history.
800m
Stephen Larson finished third in 1:52.16 — ninth all-time among W&M athletes.
T.J. Corliss was tenth with a time of 1:55.24, while
Owen Lipps finished 15
th with a PR of 1:55.72.
3000m
Nate Jennings paced the Tribe, finishing fifth in 8:35.47.
Joseph Taylor ran a PR 8:45.06 to capture 11
th place, while
Peyton Golden was 13
th (8:46.03) and
Harrison Vives was 15
th (8:47.22).
