CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The William & Mary men's and women's swim concluded competition at the Cavalier Invitational on Saturday. The third and final day of the three-day invitational featured Tribe participation in the 1650 Free, 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast and 200 Fly.
Five swimmers posted lifetime best marks, while seven improved on their best times of the season.
1650 Free
Will Juricak posted a 16:07.08 finish in the 1650 Free, racing the event for the first time in his William & Mary career.
200 Back
Alexis Bonfield made a season best time with her 2:04.22 finish in the women's 200 Back, shaving nearly a second off her prelim time.
100 Free
Sydney Querner, a Tribe senior, led the Tribe in the women's 100 Free, recording a personal-best 51.88 finish.
Emmerson Dingwerth also recorded a personal best time, clocking in at 51.90.
Chloe Swatts touched the wall with a personal-record 52.59 finish. Five Tribe women's swimmers recorded their best marks of the season as
Corinne Davenport cut nearly two seconds from her best mark of the year, swimming a 52.69 in the prelims.
Meghan Benda made a finished in 52.96,
Faith Perry recorded a 53.59 mark,
Julie Anderson clocked in at 53.77, and
Julia Gehrig made a 53.73 in the prelims.
On the men's side,
Rhett Cosgrove's 45.92 mark beat his previous personal best time by one second.
200 Breast
Natalia Rongione recorded a personal best 2:21.51 finish in the women's 200 Breast, dropping almost two seconds from her previous best.
Senior
Mills Harris shaved over two seconds off his 200 Breast prelim swim with a 2:07.94 finish in the 200 Breast.
200 Fly
Ashton Temme made a 1:51.69 time in the 200 Fly, taking four and a half seconds off his previous best finish of the season.

After wrapping up their regular season competition, the Tribe are scheduled to head to the CAA Championship in Hampton, Va., on Feb. 28-March 2.
