WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Three William & Mary swimmers broke school records while the Tribe captured three gold medals and placed 12 events at the podium on day three of the CAA Championships on Friday night at the Hampton Aquaplex.

The women's team extended its sizable lead in the team standings, accumulating over 1,100 points as it remains in first place.

During the prelims, two school records were broken between Brock Rempe in the 100 breaststroke (53.24) and Julie Addison in the 100 backstroke (53.01). Rempe would later his own 100 breast time in the finals, finishing in 52.90 to shatter the previous mark set by teammate Logan McDonald in 2024. Rempe placed second in the event.

Toby Herzog posted the second-fastest time ever in the finals, finishing in 53.22 as he placed fourth.

On the women's side, Lindsay Juhlin won gold for the Tribe in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.11. Sophia Heilen finished in second place, clocking in at 1:01.45.

In the 200 freestyle, Aiden Bond claimed the championship for the men with his time of 1:35.03, eclipsing All-American Colin Wright's record set in 2020 by one-hundredth of a second. The women were paced by Ellie Hunt in second place at 1:48.99, followed by a third-place performance from Haley Lehman (1:49.00).

In the women's 100 backstroke, Julie Addison won a gold medal with a time of 53.13. Caroline Burgeson finished runner-up with a time of 53.82, third-fastest in school history. Grace McCardle clocked in at 54.23 to finish fourth and place her No. 4 all-time.
