HAMPTON, Va. — William & Mary swimming placed six events on the podium while shattering the school record in the women's 400 medley relay on day two of the CAA Championships on Thursday at the Hampton Aquaplex.

Through two days, the Tribe women continue to lead the CAA in the team standings.

In the women's 500 freestyle, Lauren Tucker placed third with a time of 4:40.75. Haley Lehman came in fourth place with a time of 4:53.94. Lehman's prelim time of 4:51.31 was the No. 7 performance all-time.

Though freshman Tyler Barritt was unable to secure a podium finish in the men's 500 free, he registered the second-fastest time in school history with a personal-best time of 4:24.10.

In the women's 200 IM, Tess Lankford led the way for the Green & Gold as she finished runner-up with a time of 2:00.95. Multiple Tribe swimmers scored top-16 performances in the event, including Julie Addison (2:02.46) and Sammy Randell (2:03.56).

Toby Herzog swam a top-16 time in the men's 200 IM, reaching the finish line in 1:49.11

W&M had two medalists in the women's 50 freestyle between Caroline Burgeson and Flynn Truskett. Burgeson placed second with a time of 22.64, while Truskett finished right behind her at 22.67 to earn a bronze medal. Both were personal bests, vaulting them to fifth and tied-sixth all-time, respectively.

Aiden Bond shined in the 50 free for the men. After posting a prelim time of 19.68, the junior set a personal record and a new No. 2 all-time mark of 19.61 in the finals to win the silver medal. Teammates Alex Valliere (20.04) and Connor Vargas (20.08) also posted top-10 performances.

The Tribe saved its best for last in the women's 400 medley relay. The team of Addison, Lindsay Juhlin, Lauren Klinefelter, and Burgeson broke the school record that was previously set at the 2023 CAA Championships with a time of 3:35.78 to place second. Addison's leadoff time in the 100 back (53.47) was also the second-fastest individual performance ever, eclipsed only by her previous time set at the WVU Invitational last November.

The men's 400 medley relay composed of Thomas Duncan, Brock Rempe, Beck Hastings, and Bond finished in 3:10.59 for the No. 2 performance all-time.
