BLACKSBURG, Va. – For the William & Mary women's indoor track & field team, Day Two of the Doc Hale VT Meet was much like Day 1: full of historic performances and PRs.
On Saturday, the quartet of
Amaya Johnson,
Lizzy Gregory,
Carly Swierbut, and
Emily Ervin finished third in 3:44.80, the second-fastest time in William & Mary women's track and field history. Gregory and Ervin led the charge for the Tribe with splits of 55.15 and 55.41.
And, as is becoming tradition for her,
Keeley Suzenski added yet another line to her incredible shot put career with the Green and Gold. Her fourth-place finish at 15.15m (49-8.5) is the fourth-best performance in program history. The Pennsylvania native now owns the top nine performances, with spots three through six coming during this season's indoor slate.
Triple Jump
Dana Abraham posted a season-best at 11.48m (37-8.0) to place 11
th.
High Jump
Liliana Klemanski posted a PR at 1.58m (5-2.25) in the event.
Shot Put
In addition to Suzenski, freshman
Ella Carlson added her own solid performance at 11.30m (37-1.0).
200m
The day after posting another record-setting performance in the 60m,
Melissa Cunningham followed up with a strong showing in the 200m, running a 25.40. The time now sits ninth on William & Mary's all-time performers list.
Carly Swierbut was 24
th (25.79),
Anna Kessler (25.94) was 26
th, and
Charlotte Robinson (26.67) was 34
th.
Mile
Kelly Ann Sutterfield finished third with a PR of 4:54.12, while
Catherine Garrison crossed the finish line in fourth with a time of 4:56.46
. Annie Wicker (5:02.53) was 13
th and
Lucy Young was 19
th (5:11.22).

The Tribe makes its second trip to Lynchburg this season, competing at Liberty's Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational on Feb. 10 and 11.
