RICHMOND Va. – The William & Mary women's track & field team competed at the Fred Hardy Invitational Friday evening on the campus of the University of Richmond.  

Red-shirt sophomore Keeley Suzenski captured first overall in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying mark at 14.20m. Suzenski continued her reign in the discus throw, finishing first in the event with an ECAC qualifying mark at 47.23m. In the 400-meter dash red-shirt sophomore, Amaya Johnson won the event at 57.03.

Field Events|

• Kicking it off for the Tribe in the hammer throw event Suzenski placed fourth overall with 52.38m, senior Eva Mustafic finished right behind in fifth at 51.72m.
• In the shot put red-shirt juniors, Chelsea Wallace placed third overall with 13.17 and Monay James finished eighth for the Tribe at 10.48m. Wallace also placed fourth overall in the discus throw at 42.01m.
• In the pole vault sophomore Olesya Sitkowski led the Green & Gold securing second place at 3.80m. She also earned an ECAC qualifying mark. Freshman Sophie Fernandez and sophomore Elizabeth Upright tied with 3.65m, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
• As the only Tribe member to compete in the javelin throw, redshirt sophomore Zoe Metzger finished in the top five in fourth with 34.35m.
• Sophomore Ellie St. Martin tied for second place overall at 1.55m in the high jump and red-shirt sophomore Liliana Klemanski tied for fourth.

Running Events|

• Over in the 4x100 relay team of sophomore Mary Gregory, red-shirt sophomore Amaya Johnson, freshman Anna Kessler, and sophomore Chelsea Mitchell came in second place. The team earned an ECAC qualifying time of 46.97.
• In the 1500-meter freshman, Arianna DeBoer finished first for the Tribe in ninth place at 4:37.01, while sophomore Kyra Holland secured the 10th spot at 4:43.43.  Freshman Lucy young finished in 15th  overall at 4:48.39 and sophomore Molly Coyle finished in 20th at 4:50.02 in the 59-member event.
• Freshman Emily Ervin placed second in the 400-meters at 57.10 and sophomore Makenzie Joiner secured her spot in the top five in fourth at 58.23.
• In the 800-meter red-shirt sophomore Hope Stephens finished 10th overall with 2:20.90.
• As the only Green & Gold representative in the 400-meter hurdles, Clare Howard finished fifth at 1:05.41.
• In the 200 meters, sophomore Mary Gregory finished fourth overall with 25.40, while red-shirt sophomore Carly Swierbut placed seventh at 25.08. Freshman Anna Kessler brought it home for the Tribe in 12th at 26.2.
• Rounding it off for the day in the 5k, sophomore Annie Wicker finished at 18:31.54 in fifth place and freshman Annika Griggs placed 13th at 19:14.65.
