GREENWOOD, Ind. — The William & Mary track and field and cross country teams had seven athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. Talia Anderson, Allison McDonald, Elaina Perkins, and Molly Weithman were honored from the women's side, while Luke Ellwood, Eric Fagan, and Matthias Oettl were selected for the men.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. To be athletically eligible, nominees must have a top-50 individual performance at an NCAA regional competition during the current academic year for cross country or a top-50 regional ranking in a single event (indoor or outdoor) for track and field.
