He became the sixth player in modern program history to hit two triples in a game and the first since Ryan Williams on April 7, 2012 against Delaware. Laskofski leads the CAA in runs (49), hits (43), and triples (five) while also ranking second in slugging (.652).
NEARING HISTORY
W&M is just five stolen bases away from breaking the all-time single-season program record of 116 set in 1993. The Tribe swiped five bags against Longwood to bring its season total to 112.
DOWN BUT NEVER OUT
Down to its final strike, W&M rallied for five runs in the ninth inning in Friday's 9-6 win over Elon. C Witt Scafidi tied the game with a two-run single before INF Matthew Kosuda gave the Tribe the lead with an RBI base hit. It was W&M's eighth come-from-behind win of the season.
CATCHERS WHO RAKE
Witt Scafidi ranks second among CAA catchers in batting average at .342. Scafidi hit a game-tying two-run single in the ninth inning to spark a comeback win at Elon. He now has hits in three straight games.
LIFTED BY WEIGHT
RHP Jack Weight owns a team-best 3.86 ERA after registering three scoreless outings in his last four appearances. Since April 3, the sophomore has allowed one run over 9 ⅔ innings with a 2-0 record and nine strikeouts with zero walks.
PURE DOMINANCE
W&M's 13-1 win over Elon was its largest margin of victory on the season and its largest in a conference game since April 26, 2025 at Stony Brook (15-0). The Tribe's 16 hits was its most in a game this year, while the three hits allowed was the second-fewest.
