RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary baseball had six individuals named to the 2026 CAA Baseball Postseason Awards on Tuesday afternoon, headlined by infielder
Jamie Laskofski, who was named the CAA Player of the Year.
Laskofski becomes the sixth Tribe player to earn CAA Player of the Year honors and the second in a row, joining 2025 Co-Player of the Year Ben Parker.
Accompanying Laskofski on the all-conference squad were Second Team selections Matthew Kosuda, Louie Bartletti, and Jack Weight, along with All-Rookie picks Kosuda and Sam Kaczmarek.
INF JAMIE LASKOFSKI
Laskofski had a stellar 2026 campaign, posting a .355 batting average with 65 runs, 72 hits, 12 doubles, 13 homers, and 45 RBI. He slugged .665 while drawing 41 walks for a .464 on-base percentage. The sophomore stole 36 bases, ranking 14th in Division I, and his six triples were fourth-most in the nation. During the regular season, he led the CAA in runs and triples, while also ranking top-three in average, slugging, walks, stolen bases, and OPS (1.129).
INF MATTHEW KOSUDA
In his first full season of action, Kosuda ranked top-10 in the CAA with a .338 batting average and 44 RBI. He finished tied second on the team with seven home runs while adding 36 runs, nine doubles, and a .507 slugging percentage.
Kosuda was named the CAA Rookie of the Week three times, tied for the league lead. He posted a 15-game hitting streak during the season to lead all Tribe players.
OF LOUIE BARTLETTI
Bartletti hit .327 for the year, scoring 39 runs and collecting 30 RBI with 21 stolen bases. The graduate outfielder went on a tear during conference play, slashing .384/.470/.640 with 18 RBI against CAA foes. He ranked top-10 in the league for stolen bases.
On April 25, Bartletti went 5-for-5 in a game against North Carolina A&T, equaling the most hits by a Tribe player since 2012 and breaking the modern-era school record for total bases (12).
RHP JACK WEIGHT
Weight led the Tribe with a 3.52 ERA, going 4-3 with one save across 17 appearances. He held opponents to a .234 batting average, striking out 44 while walking 19. The sophomore was virtually unhittable in the month of April, posting a 3-0 record with a 0.53 ERA in 17 innings and a 17/3 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
OF SAM KACZMAREK
Kaczmarek batted .316 overall, upping that average to .352 in conference play. In 41 games, he racked up 35 runs, 42 hits, three homers, and 18 RBI. His 22 stolen bases ranked eighth in the CAA and top-50 in Division I. The Rockville, Va. native ended the season with six hits in his last two games.
