VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The William & Mary track and field teams had numerous standout performances at the CAA Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex, capturing four individual championships and 12 total medals.

The Tribe won gold in the men's distance medley relay and 800m, plus the women's pole vault and mile. W&M set four school records at the meet, in addition to several top-10 performances.

The men's team finished fourth in the team standings while the women placed fifth among 11 squads.

In the women's 400m, Emily Ervin finished on the podium with her school-record time of 54.76. She was joined by her men's counterpart Austin Rice, who also placed third in the 400m with a time of 47.79.

Also running in the 400m was David Seekford, who improved his prelim time to set a new personal best at 48.34. That remains third-fastest in school history.

The men's 4x400m posted a school-record-breaking time of 3:12.40, led by Jacob Robinson, Seekford, Rice, and Charlie Bestic. They took second place in the event.
