LYNCHBURG, Va. – This is becoming a trend for
Austin Rice.
The freshman continues to add his name to the William & Mary record book in the 400m, this time running a 49.26 at Day 1 of Liberty University's Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational. The finish is good for 11th all-time in Tribe history, and Rice now owns four of the top-11 indoor performances. That includes the W&M freshman record, which he set last month at Liberty's Brant Tolsma Invitational.
Weight Throw
Jason Nwosu captured a 16
th-place finish at 16.59m (54-05.25), while
Ross Bazzichi was 21
st at 15.22m (49-11.25).
Long Jump
Ethan Buenviaje placed 24
th at 6.47m (21-02.75).

Jackson Cooley ran a 6.89, matching the PR he set at Virginia Tech last week.
