LYNCHBURG, Va. – The William & Mary indoor women's track & field team competed in the second day of the 3
rd Annual Brant Tolsma Invitational on Friday at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
Pentathlon
In Section #1 competition,
Elizabeth Dupras placed seventh with 2,542 points.
Field Events
Long Jump
Megan Heidebrecht got things started for the Tribe in the field events, placing sixth at 5.53m (18-01.75).
Weight Throw
Keeley Suzenski finished 11
th at 15.42m (50-07.25), while
Ella Carlson was 14
th at 14.72m (48-03.50).
Talia Anderson also added her own strong performance at 13.91m (45-07.75) to finish 17
th.
Running Events
200m
Emily Ervin led the way for the Tribe, crossing the finish line in fourth at 24.85.
Amaya Johnson wasn't far behind in sixth, finishing in 25.14.
Melissa Cunningham posted a time of 25.60 to notch 17
th place, while Mary Gregory rounded out the W&M field in 32
nd with a finish of 26.33.
3000m
Leading the charge for the Green and Gold was
Arianna DeBoer, who finished second in 9:41.32.
Catherine Garrison was fourth with a time of 10:05.87, and
Annie Wicker was sixth in 10:12.43.
