WILLIAMSBURG, VA. - William & Mary swimming will begin the 2022-23 season this Sunday as both the men's and women's teams will be in action at UNCW. The Tribe and the Seahawks will meet in the David B. Allen Natatorium at 10:00 a.m. The meet will be streamed live on Flosports.

The women will be taking their first step in defense of last season's CAA title in which the Tribe finished 42.5 points ahead of second place UNCW. Returning for William & Mary is the reigning CAA champion in the 200 breaststroke

Overall, the women's team is returning three individual medalists from last year's championship winning team, and six swimmers that earned a medal as a part of a relay team. The Green and Gold brings back eight individuals that earned a spot in the A finals at the CAA Championship Meet in at least one event and six that earned points in the B finals.Â

The Tribe men won two of their final three dual meets last season and will have their hands full facing the defending CAA champions in UNCW.

Noah Fields is back for William & Mary after earning a sixth place finish in the 200 fly in last year's championships. While
Micah Lowe finished fifth in the 200 back at the CAA Meet.
John O'Hara is coming off a strong junior season in which he finished fourth in the 200 free at the Championship Meet. Overall the team brings back six swimmers from last year's team that qualified for the A final in the CAA Championship and seven more athletes who swam in the B final last season.
