2022-23
Swam in 16 events over eight meets… Was a three-even finalist at the CAA Championships and took two bronze medals in the 200 fly and the 400 IM… Finished on the podium 10 times, including six individual wins… Earned a win in the 200 fly against Johns Hopkins (10/15/22)... Also finished first in the 200 fly at Towson (10/22/22)... Earned wins in the 200 fly and the 400 IM at Delaware (11/5/22)... Helped the Tribe defeat Old Dominion with a win in the 200 fly (1/14/23).. On Senior Day, finished first in the 400 IM and second in the 200 fly against Davidson (1/21/23)... Swam a 3:53.14 in the 400 IM to finish third at the CAA Championship (2/23/23)... Also earned the bronze medal in the 200 fly with a time of 1:45.69… Placed 12th in the 200 IM with a mark of 1:48.87.

2021-22
Finalist in the 200 fly at the CAA Championships… Swam in 15 events over seven meets… Had a trio of first place finishes in dual meets during the year… Finished third in both the 100 and 200 fly to begin the year (10/16/21)... Had a second place finish in the 200 fly against Towson (10/23/21)... Finished first in the 100 and second in the 200 fly in a win over UMBC (10/30/21)... Had a third place finish in the 200 fly at the West Virginia Invitational… Swept both fly events finishing first at Davidson (1/28/22)... Set a personal record with a 49.59 100 fly time at the CAA Championship… Swam a 1:49.02 200 fly in the prelims and finished sixth at the CAA Championship.

2020-21
Finished as the Tribe's seventh-highest point recorder with a first place, five seconds, and a pair of third place finishes... Earned a win in a dual meet with Davidson clocking in at 1:52.01 in the 200 Fly... Finished third overall in 1:47.28 to earn his first all-conference nod in the CAA Championship, a new lifetime best for Fields. 

2019-20
Three-event finalist at the CAA Championships ... Finished ninth in both the 400 IM and the 200 fly ... Also took 13th in the 200 back ... Set a lifetime-best in the 400 IM, timing 3:59.59 in the finals ... At the West Virginia Invitational, finished 27th in the 200 back and 32nd in both the 200 IM and the 100 back ... Totaled 56 points with seven podium finishes ... Won his first career race in the 200 fly against Old Dominion ... CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll during the fall for having a GPA over 3.0 ... W&M Provost's Award for having a GPA over 3.5.

Prep
Won the 3A state title in the 100 back ... Winter Junior Nationals Qualifier ... Also a talented runner, earning all-conference and all-region honors ... Scholastic All-American ... Finished third in the state science fair in 2016 ... Member of the National Honor Society ... Secretary of the Science Honor Society ... Also a member of the Science Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

Son of Branch and Mya Fields ... Mother ran track & field at Virginia Tech ... Enjoys unicycling and making paper airplanes.
