CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The William & Mary women's track & field team concluded the Virginia Challenge Saturday afternoon, setting new school records and personal best.
In the 4x400m relay, team of sophomores,

Grace Bir, and freshmen
Emily Ervin broke their own school record yet again, finishing third overall in the event. With a combined time of 3:40.84, the team shaved nearly two seconds off from the record set just two weeks ago at the Colonial Relays.
How It Happened:
- Kicking it off for the Tribe in the shot put, red-shirt sophomore Keeley Suzenski finished with a mark of 14.07m. Her throw records as the 14th best performance in W&M history.
- In the 400-meter hurdles sophomore, Makenzie Joiner finished first for the Tribe at 1:04.6, while freshman Clare Howard set a new personal record in the event at 1:04.87.
- Freshman Emily Ervin recorded a new personal best in the 200 meters. Her time of 24.47 now stands as the sixth-fastest time in school history and just shy of the freshman record.
NEXT UP: The Tribe will compete at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Va. April 28-30.
