The Tournament
W&M has hosted a spring women's golf tournament every year since 1989 and will return to Kingsmill for the 10th year in a row in 2021. Nine of those 10 years have been held on the River Course, which has also been home to the LPGA's Pure Silk Championship, the "fifth major," since 2003, and the PGA Tour's Michelob Championship from 1981-2002. This week, the course will play at par-72 and 6,064 yards. The teams will play 54 holes this week, with 36 holes coming Monday and a final 18 on Tuesday. On both days, the players will have a shotgun-start, beginning at 8:30 a.m. In addition to W&M, the tournament will include teams from Bucknell, Central Michigan, CSUN, Delaware, Lehigh, Longwood, Merrimac, Mount St. Mary's, Navy, Radford, Richmond, Washington & Lee and Wagner.
