GREENVILLE, N.C.— The William & Mary women's golf completed competition at the Pirate Intercollegiate on Tuesday, hosted by ECU in Greenville, N.C.
The Tribe finished in 15
th place over the 54 holes at Greenville Country Club with team scores of 314-321-308. The hosting ECU Pirates took the team title at 16-under-par, while Lisa Forss of ECU took individual honors at 12-under.
W&M was led by the efforts of
Samantha Skinner with bookend scores of 75 in the first and third rounds with an 83 in between. Skinner's 17-over total landed her in a tie for 67
th. The junior played the par-3's at Greenville CC at 1-over for the event.
Jennifer Osborne finished two shots behind Skinner at 19-over, T-74. The Tribe sophomore fired back-to-back 79s over the opening 36 holes on Monday before shaving two shots off on Tuesday with a 77.
Both
Reagan Garnsey and
Simone Senk played the par-5's at 1-under for the tournament for W&M, finishing T-78 and T-82 respectively. Garnsey got better every round, shooting scores of 85-77-75, while Senk posted 79-82-81.
Avery Thompson rounded out the William & Mary lineup with scores of 81-83-84, finishing 87
th.
