RICHMOND, Va. - The William & Mary men's track & field team competed at the Fred Hardy Invitational Friday evening on the campus of the University of Richmond. Freshman
Chris Arias finished first overall in the javelin throw at 65.06m. In the 400-meter hurdles, red-shirt sophomore
Daniel Layton won the race at 57.06.

How It Happened:
- In the 1500-meter, red-shirt senior Spencer Tsai finished second overall with an IC4A qualifying time of 3:53.18, while junior Stephen Larson placed fifth overall with an IC4A qualifying time at 3:55.15. Red-shirt junior Alex Loukili finished in the top 10 in ninth place at 3:57.93 and freshman Owen Lipps brought it in for the Tribe finishing 12th overall at 3:58.97 in the 51-member race.
- In the 110-meter hurdles, red-shirt sophomore Daniel Layton placed third overall at 15.71.
- Sophomore Jackson Cooley finished in eighth place at 50.83 in the 400-meter dash, while Cole Harris settled in just short of the top 10 in 11th at 51.6.
- Rounding it off for the Green & Gold in the 5k, junior Jacob Jones finished first for the Tribe in fourth place at 14:48.63, sophomore Sam Pritchard placed fifth at 14: 55.93, and red-shirt sophomore Andrew Lagattuta finished in sixth place at 15:00.67. Red-shirt freshman Patrick North (15:05.26) and red-shirt junior Evan Goodell (15:13.36) finished eighth and 10th, respectively.
