ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The William & Mary men's track & field team competed at the Navy select Saturday. Hosted by the Naval Academy events took place at the Wesley A. Brown Field House, the Green and Gold earned eight IC4A qualifying times.

How it happened:
- Kicking it off for the Tribe sophomore Ethan Bueviaje placed first in long jump at 6.53m
- In the 60m hurdles, red-shirt sophomore Daniel Layton finished second overall at (8.54).
- Sophomore Jackson Cooley took first place in the 60m dash and earned a career-best of 7.03. In the 200m dash, Cooley placed fourth and earned an IC4A qualifying time at 22.10.
- For the 1 mile run red-shirt sophomores Tyler Lipps (4:11.90), Evan Goodell (4:12.91), and junior Stephen Larson (4:13.67) all earned IC4A qualifying times.
- In the 1000 run junior Jacob Jones finished first overall at 2:26.27, red-shirt sophomore Andrew Lagattuta placed second at 2:26.91, and freshman Luke Ellwood came in fourth at 2:27.62. Sophomore Owen Lipps brought it in for the Tribe in sixth at 2:28.72. All four harriers earned IC4A qualifying times.
NEXT: The Green & Gold will be back in action in two weeks to compete at the ECAC Indoor Championships Mar 4-6., in Boston, Mass.
