LYNCHBURG, Va. -The William & Mary men's track & field team competed at the Liberty Open Saturday morning. The events took place at the Brant Tolsma Indoor Track, where the Tribe competed alongside 28 other colleges and universities.
How it happened:
- Redshirt sophomore Evan Goodell led and won his heat in the mile run.
- Freshman J.P. Mintz earned a personal best in the pole vault (4.55 m).
- Junior Jacob Jones, redshirt senior Spencer Tsai, and junior Andrew Lagattuta all hit an ic4a mark in the 3000m run. Jones earned second overall at (8:16.99), Lagattuta placed third with (8:17.48) and Tsai brought it home for the Tribe in fifth at (8:22.83).
NEXT: The Tribe heads to Winston Salem, N.C. to compete at the JDL February Multi & Track Meet (4SA's), Feb. 7.
