BOSTON, Mass. - The William & Mary men's track & field team concluded the IC4A Championships with great strides, Sunday afternoon. The Green & Gold finished 14th overall in the 27-field team with 18 points. UCONN won the title with 112.5 points.
How it happened:
- Starting it off for the Tribe in the mile, junior Jacob Jones placed 7th overall at 4:06.28, scoring points for the team after being ranked 57th coming into the race.
- Junior Stephen Larson was ranked 16th coming into the race and finished seventh in the 1000-meter run at 2:28.86.
- Senior Spencer Tsai finished the 3k shaving 10 seconds off his time for a new personal best at 8:12.44.
- Closing it out for the Tribe in the distance medley, the team of Owen Lipps, Jackson Cooley, Alex Loukili, and Sam Pritchard improved their combined time from the prelims and finished third overall at 9:56.33.
Next Up: With the regular season now concluded, William & Mary turns its attention to the outdoor campaign, which will begin at Richmond on Friday, March 18, with the Fred Hardy Invitational.
