BROCKPORT, N.Y. -The William & Mary field hockey team had three student-athletes recognized as National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Scholars of Distinction, the organization announced Tuesday.
Honorees from the Tribe included junior
Tabby Billingham, freshman
Pyper Friedman, and redshirt freshman
Aly Trumbull.
This is Billingham's second time earning the honors and the first for Friedman and Trumbull.
This year, more than 280 student-athletes were recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as Division I Scholars of Distinction The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2021-22 academic year.
