Ten Named to NFHCA National Academic Squad

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ten members of the William & Mary field hockey team were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Squad, the organization announced on Wednesday.
 
The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach. In total, more than 1,100 student-athletes from 82 Division I programs were named to the squad. 
 
Senior Eme Schmittel, junior Alexandra de Jesus, and sophomore Josette DeGour each earned the honor for the second-straight season. Senior Amelia Morgan, juniors Bridget Lawn and Sophie Ermellini, sophomore Ava Rossman, and freshman Emma Cari, Gracie Clawson, and Lilly Johnson also received the accolade for their success in the classroom.
