Keeley Suzenski Breaks School Record at the Patriot Games

FAIRFAX, Va. - Sophomore  Keeley Suzenski, posted a new school record at the Patriot Games Saturday afternoon. Suzenski earned a personal best and broke her own school record in women's shot put placing first overall with 15.52m. She previously set the record (15.37m) at the ECAC Championships in 2020.

Long Jump

Kicking it off for the Tribe Chelsea Mitchell earned first place at (5.64) in the event, while Megan Heidebrecht took first runner up at (5.56m)

 Weight Throw 
Senior Eva Mustafic took the lead for the Tribe placing fifth at 15.55m, while sophomore Keeley Suzenski finished with 15.12m. Junior Chelsea Wallace rounded it out for the Green & Gold with 12.22m.
 
High Jump 

Freshman Ellie St. Martin and sophomore Liliana Klemanski tied for second place with 1.57m.
 
Triple Jump

As the only Tribe member to compete in the category freshman Dana Abraham placed third with 11.3m. 
 
Women Shot Put 

Rounding it out for the field events Monay James finished in 14th place with 10.52m
                       
 
Running Events
60 Meter Dash 

Freshmen Emily Ervin brought it home for the Green and Gold placing sixth at 7.90 m.

 Women Distance Medley 
In the distance medley relay, a trio of freshmen Lucy Young, Molly Coyle, Arianna DeBoer, and sophomore Hope Stephens placed second overall at 12:49.52.

 500 Meter Dash
 Freshmen Grace Bir placed in the top 10 taking 6th place at 1:17.95.

800 Meter Run
Freshmen Lucy Young finished first for the Tribe in 5th place 2:25.60, while freshmen Molly Coyle placed in the top 15 in 14th place at 2:32.82.
 
1000 Meter Run

Freshman Arianna DeBoer and sophomore Megan Dougherty both finished in the top 20.  DeBoer in 11th at 3:09.45 and Dougherty in 19th at 3:20:95.

 200 Meter Dash 
Finishing the day out for the Tribe sophomore Carly Swierbut placed third overall at 26.14 just shy of a personal best.

NEXT: Up next, the Tribe will prepare to compete at the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Va. Feb 5.
