The William & Mary swimming programs once again doubled up team academic honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America on Tuesday, the 17th-consecutive semester that both teams have been honored for excellence in the classroom.

The Tribe women had a 3.39 team GPA this fall, the 38th time overall and 24th-straight time that W&M has earned the team academic award for having a GPA over 3.0. The Tribe women were a perfect 3-0 in fall dual meets and has a chance to end the season undefeated for back-to-back seasons with a win at Davidson on Friday. On the men's side, the Tribe had a 3.50 team mark, making it the 17th-straight semester and the 29th time overall that the Green and Gold has been recognized by the CSCAA.Â

In total, 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities earned the honor full list. Those with a GPA of 3.3 or higher will now become eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director highlighted William & Mary's achievements noting, "Coach Kellogg has stepped right in and done tremendous things, this being just the latest. These 44 men and women are some of the best ambassadors that William & Mary and the CAA could ask for."
