The William & Mary women's track & field team continues to improve with every meet, smashing its way to nearly 20 new entries in the record books on Saturday at Navy's Spring Invitational. The Tribe won three events, while also finishing second in four events and third in five.
Leading the way on the day was redshirt-junior
Taylor E. Jones (Fairfax Station, Va.), who set lifetime-bests in both of her events. In the triple jump, she took second overall in 11.86m (38-11), the ninth-longest jump in school history. A personal-best by one centimeter, it also improved Jones to fifth all-time among Tribe athletes. She also took third place in the pole vault with a lifetime-best vault of 3.81m (12-6). That improved Jones to a tie for fifth overall among W&M athletes. Also in the pole vault, freshman

In the long jump, freshman
