WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary women's tennis enjoyed a strong performance on the first day of the ITA Hall of Fame Classic. As a team, the Tribe posted a trio of wins in singles action and went a perfect 2-0 in doubles competition. Junior

Mila Saric led the way as they picked up a singles and doubles win apiece to wrap up a perfect opening day of competition.
In doubles, Saric and senior
Mila Saric tallied an 8-6 win over the Miami (Fla.) duo of Nada Dimovska and Lucia Marzal, 8-6, at the top spot. Okuyama and senior
Charlotte Madson won the final four games to record an 8-5 win over the Liberty pair of Esther Lovato and Nasha Ghajar.
Seeing her first competition of the fall season, Okuyama posted a quick 6-3, 6-3 win over West Virginia's Nicole Roc.
Saric needed a pair of tiebreaker set wins but pushed her singles mark to a team-best 3-1. The Tribe sophomore topped Giovanna Caputo, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (6).
Freshman
Elisa Van Meeteren rounded out the Tribe singles wins as she split her matches on Friday. She notched her second win of the year taking a one-set match from Liberty's Kelly Lewis, 6-1.
