WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis student-athletes Sia Chaudry, Francesca Davis and Yaelle Vaissaud were recognized for their accomplishments both on the court and in the classroom, earning selection to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
The trio helped William & Mary to a 14–7 overall record during the 2025-26 season, including a 6–1 mark in Coastal Athletic Association play and the program's 11th consecutive appearance in the CAA Championship match.
Chaudry, a senior majoring in business analytics-data science, earned the honor after primarily competing at No. 1 singles throughout the season. She posted an 8-10 dual-match singles record, including a 3-1 mark in conference play, and teamed with Francesca Davis to clinch the doubles point in William & Mary's 4-0 CAA semifinal sweep of Charleston. Chaudry also earned All-CAA Second Team Singles honors and received William & Mary's Provost Award.
Davis, a junior government major, garnered Academic All-District recognition after leading the Tribe with 26 singles victories, including a 17-3 mark in dual matches. She posted a perfect 5-0 record in conference singles play and earned All-CAA First Team Singles and All-CAA Second Team Doubles honors. Davis also tied for the team lead with 21 doubles victories and collected multiple conference honors during the season, including CAA Player of the Week recognition on March 10.
Vaissaud, a senior international relations major, earned the distinction after tying for the team lead with 21 doubles victories, including a team-best 15 dual-match doubles wins while primarily competing at No. 3 doubles. She teamed with Emma Pell for an 11-match doubles winning streak from Feb. 26 through April 8 and helped the Tribe post a 5-1 record in conference doubles play. Vaissaud also received William & Mary's Provost Award.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and compete in the lineup for at least 75 percent of their institution's days of competition.
