WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its regional rankings on Wednesday, with William & Mary women's tennis earning a No. 8 ranking in the Atlantic Region.
The Tribe posted a 14-7 overall record during the 2025-26 season and advanced to the Coastal Athletic Association Championship match for the 11th consecutive year.
William & Mary finished 6-1 in CAA play and advanced to the conference championship match after a 4-0 semifinal victory over Charleston before falling in a tightly contested 4-3 match to Elon in the title contest.
The Tribe also earned multiple postseason honors during the season, highlighted by freshman Rebeka Svabikova being named the CAA Rookie of the Year. Francesca Davis earned All-CAA First Team Singles honors, while senior Sia Chaudry was named to the All-CAA Second Team Singles and sophomore Mira Kernagis garnered All-CAA Third Team Singles recognition.
In doubles play, Davis and freshman Tilda Larsson, along with the freshman-sophomore tandem of Alexia Gonzalez-Galino and Kernagis, earned All-CAA Second Team Doubles honors.
