RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis freshman Rebeka Svabikova was named the Coastal Athletic Association Rookie of the Year, headlining a group of six All-CAA honors for the Tribe, the league announced Friday.
Junior Francesca Davis earned All-CAA First Team Singles honors, while senior Sia Chaudry was selected to the All-CAA Second Team Singles. Sophomore Mira Kernagis rounded out the Tribe's singles honorees with All-CAA Third Team Singles recognition.
In doubles play, Davis and freshman Tilda Larsson were named All-CAA Second Team Doubles, while the freshman-sophomore tandem of Alexia Gonzalez-Galino and Kernagis earned All-CAA Second Team Doubles honors as well.
The postseason recognition caps another strong spring for William & Mary, which finished 14-7 overall, placed second in the CAA regular-season standings, and advanced to the CAA Women's Tennis Championship match for the 11th consecutive time.
Svabikova quickly established herself as one of the league's top newcomers in her debut season, posting a 19-9 overall singles record, including a 14-5 mark in dual-match play. She excelled in conference action, going 5-1 in CAA singles play, and won 10 matches at the No. 5 spot to help solidify the middle of William & Mary's lineup throughout the season.
Davis continued to build on one of the top careers in program history, earning her first All-CAA First Team Singles selection after leading the Tribe with a team-best 26 singles victories. The senior went 17-3 in dual matches, including a perfect 6-0 mark at No. 2 singles and an 11-3 record at No. 3. She was also the only Tribe player to finish undefeated in conference singles play at 5-0.
Already among the most accomplished players in program history, Davis ranks sixth all-time in William & Mary history in career singles winning percentage (.739) with a 68-24 record, while also ranking 13th in doubles winning percentage (.739) with an identical 68-24 career doubles mark.
Chaudry followed up her 2025 All-CAA Third Team selection with another step forward in 2026, earning All-CAA Second Team Singles honors after totaling 14 singles victories, including eight in dual-match play while competing at the top of the Tribe lineup.
Kernagis also earned her first career all-conference singles recognition after a standout sophomore campaign in which she posted a 22-8 overall singles record and 15-4 dual-match mark, including a 12-4 record at No. 4 singles. She added All-CAA honors in doubles as part of a strong season alongside Gonzalez-Galino, as the pair combined for a 16-8 overall doubles record, including an 11-5 mark in dual competition.
Davis and Larsson formed another of the conference's top doubles tandems, earning All-CAA Second Team Doubles honors after posting an 18-9 overall record, including an 11-2 tournament mark and 7-7 dual-match ledger. The pair was recognized twice during the season as CAA Doubles Team of the Week and provided consistent production throughout the spring.
The six all-conference honors serve as a fitting recognition for a William & Mary squad that once again proved to be one of the CAA's top programs, advancing to the conference championship match for the 11th consecutive season.
