The William & Mary women's swimming team continued action at the Janis Hape Dowd Nike Invitational on Saturday night, with six athletes and relays competing. Of those six, all scored and four earned top-six finishes.
- In the 200 medley relay, the team of
Emily Schroeder (West Windsor, N.J.),
Abby Jones (Manakin-Sabot, Va.),
Nina Lesser (Centerport, N.Y.), and
Tess Ruona (Medford, N.J.) combined to swim 1:52.33 and take sixth overall.
- Next up was the 100 fly, where
Yuka Kuwahara (Ashburn, Va.) finished sixth overall in 57.20 seconds. The senior Lesser finished 12th in the race, touching the wall in 1:01.04.
- In the 400 IM, freshman
Rebecca Rogers (Richmond, Va.) finished second overall in 4:29.63.
- Jones finished fifth overall in the 100 back, swimming 57.59 seconds. Ruona also finished in the A finals, taking eighth overall in 1:00.34.
The Nike Invitational concludes on Sunday, with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. back at North Carolina's Koury Natatorium.
