Tyler Thomson
became the ninth head coach in the history of the William and Mary women's
tennis program on June 21. TribeAthletics.com sat down with Thomson to discuss
his return to Williamsburg and taking over the Tribe program. This is the

Thomson spent four seasons with the Tribe from 1997-01,
before moving into a head coaching position at the University of Minnesota. He
led the Golden Gopher program for 11 seasons before returning to W&M as its
ninth head women's tennis coach on June 21. During his time in Minneapolis,
Thomson led Minnesota to 111 victories and the program's first Big Ten
Championship in 2003.
