Describe what it means to be a senior captain.
Being a senior captain means stepping up for the team in every circumstance. The team is going to look to you for help, support, and guidance because of your experience. It means leading by example and motivating the teams to achieve its aspirations. It means giving everything you have to the team? blood, sweat, and tears? and loving every minute of it.

With just 13 gymnasts on this year's roster, describe the team's chemistry this season?
Now that the team is so small, we are especially close knit. No one is ever left out and there aren't any small clicks within the team. We function as a single unit and everyone puts in as much as they can. As long as everyone stays healthy, our small team has the potential to make a big statement this season.

What are the team's goals for the upcoming season?
We would like to win ECACs, win USAGs, get a 3.1 team GPA, and to get a new all-time high team score.

Which competition are you most looking forward to this season?
I would have to say USAG nationals for a few reasons. First of all, I've never been to Texas before! But it will also be my last competition ever, and I'd really like to leave the team on a high note. We did excellent at USAGs last year; making it to finals for the first time since I've been on the team and ending up third. As of now, that was the most exciting moment of my career. I would like to see us win this time and there is no doubt in my mind that we have the ability.

What is your most memorable moment with the W&M gymnastics team?
Well, I just gave it away? But it would definitely have to be USAG finals last year. We all hit and it was AMAZING. Beating Towson at home two years in a row runs a close second though.

What does Tribe Pride mean to you?
Tribe Pride means pushing yourself to do things you never thought possible for the good of the team. It means recognizing that you are a part of something greater than yourself.

What is your favorite event, and why?
Bars, because it is the only event I can do anymore! Haha, but I also just love to swing.

What is your least favorite event, and why?
I guess the rest of them all tie for my least favorite. It's hard to watch when you want to do something but can't because you are physically limited.

What has been your proudest moment competing in gymnastics?
The proudest moment of my career was when we didn't count a single fall at USAG finals last year. We looked better and more confident than I had ever seen us look before. It's amazing to watch one big performance after another and know that all our hard work has paid off. I was so proud to be a part of that.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Remember that however hard you are working, there is someone working even harder.

Of all your teammates, past and present, who have you learned the most from, and why?
It's hard to choose just one, but I might have to say Lauren Jackson. I learned a lot from her both in and out of the gym. She really pushed herself to do her best, she stepped up when the team needed her, and she taught me how to get mad instead of giving up. There is no use feeling sorry for yourself. You're better off channeling that frustration into determination and getting up with attitude of "this time is going to be different."

Do you have any pre-meet rituals or superstitions?
I always krump for the girls in our shoot-em down dance through every practice before meets.

Who has had the biggest impact on your gymnastics career?
My parents? Without them none of this would have been possible for me. They have been such an amazing support system. Dr. Wilhelm runs a close second because he has puts me back together every time my body falls apart.

What do you enjoy doing most other than gymnastics?
Watching football or basketball. I'm a fan of the Pats and the Celtics.

What is something interesting about you that few people know?
I injured myself on the balance beam and had to have my right big toe surgically reattached the summer before my freshman year at William and Mary. That's why it's always taped.

What is your favorite spot on the College's campus?
Swem? unless I'm hungry. Then it's the caf.

What has been your favorite road trip while competing at W&M?
I love them all!!!

What do you think you'll miss the most about your experience with gymnastics at W&M after you graduate?
The team ? these girls are my best friends.

After you complete your collegiate gymnastics career, what would you like to do?
Be a grown up and do grown up things.
