WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After posting tremendous seasons, three William & Mary women's gymnastics standouts –
Hannah Burke,
Ashley Ruedy and
Sophia Summers – earned regular season all-league honors by the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC).
Burke earned first-team honors on floor (9.815), while Ruedy (9.780) and Summers (9.765) garnered second-team accolades on floor and beam, respectively.
Gymnasts who finished the regular season ranked among the league's top six earned first-team accolades, while those ranked No. 7-12 were named to the second team, including all ties.
W&M will vie for the GEC Championship hosted by Cornell on Saturday afternoon.
The Tribe will compete in the first session (noon) with Bridgeport, Southern Connecticut State and West Chester. The second session, which will get underway at 5 p.m., will feature Brown, Cornell, Penn and Yale.
