Houston, Texas - The William and Mary Tribe men's golf team finished up play at the Rice Intercollegiate in Houston, Texas on Tuesday afternoon, firing a team-total of 293 (+5) to jump a spot and finish in ninth place. The University of Pacific claimed the team title with its final score of 874 (+10), while Ji Hwan Park of the University of San Francisco won the individual medal, carding a 210 (-6).

Senior
Doug Hurson paced the Tribe the entire tournament, finishing in a tie for sixth place with his three-round total of 217 (+1). The Bethesda, Maryland native was a picture of consistency throughout the two-day event, firing rounds of 72-72-73 to earn his 10th career top-10 finish.
After shaking off the rust in the first round, senior
Brent Paladino played fantastic golf for the Green and Gold. Paladino closed out the tournament with his best round, carding a 70 (-2) to complete his climb up the leader board and finish in a tie for 18th with his score of 221 (+5).
Junior
Conor O'Brien was also very consistent for the Tribe, shooting rounds of 75-76-76 to finish in a tie for 36th with his total of 227 (+11). Sophomore
Brandon Parker placed in a tie for 61st with his 54-hole total of 237 (+17), while redshirt-freshman
Scott Saal rounded out the College's effort in 66th place with his score of 235 (+19).
Next up for the William and Mary Tribe men's golf team will be a trip south to Crestview, Florida to compete in the Troy Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Heritage Plantation on February 28 to March 1.
