WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William & Mary men's golf opens the spring schedule taking part in the Babygrande Golf 6th annual Donald Ross Collegiate Classic, March 9-11. The three-day, 20-team event will be played at the historic original Donald Ross Mid-Pines Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.
As part of its sponsorship, Babygrande Golf will produce a live video stream of the tournament on
YouTube, it's second year coverage of the event. The company will distribute and market content across its in-house network, which reaches approximately one million followers across multiple social media platforms, including @gonegolfingtv, @bunkersplash, @golfermoments, @babygrandegolf, @babygrandesports, and @topgolfershere.
The 20-team field ties the largest in the history of the tournament. Monday and Tuesday's format will be 18 holes with tee times beginning at 8:15 am. The final round on Wednesday will feature tee times starting at 9:05 am on holes #1 and #10.

The Tribe closed out the fall campaign with a victory, winning the 16-team ODU/OBX Intercollegiate in Powell's Point, N.C. in October. W&M shot scores of 294-279-279 for an even-par total of 852, seven ahead of second-place Georgetown. It was the program's first win since claiming The Invitational at Savannah Harbor back in February of 2018. Freshman

Tribe News and Notes
- The Tribe was stellar during the fall, finishing in the top five in every tournament capped by the win at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate. Additionally,
Tim Pemberton's squad has posted scores of 296-or-better in all but one round. The Tribe's current scoring average of 289.07 is more than three shots better than the current school record set in 2022-23.
- W&M is currently ranked No. 123 in the NCAA Division I Clippd national rankings. It is the Tribe's highest under the current national ranking format. The Green and Gold owns a 59-12 record through the fall season.
- Freshman
Talon Dingledine has been a standout for the Tribe in his freshman season. Dingledine has posted top-10 finishes in four of W&M's five events thus far with the lone exception being a 12th-place showing at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate. He was named the CAA Player of the Week after shooting a 6-under total in finishing T-6 at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia.
- Junior
Preston Burton owns three top-five performance during the fall season, highlighted by a pair of third-place performances at the Georgetown Intercollegiate and ODU/OBX Intercollegiate. He shot par or better in half of his rounds during the fall (7 of 14).
- After winning the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate, Felty became the second Tribe rookie to be named the CAA Player of the Week this season.
