LATE-NIGHT WALKOFF
INF Jamie Laskofski blasted a walk-off home run in Friday's 12-inning win over Elon. It was the first walkoff tater of Laskofski's career and the first by a Tribe player since Jack Cone on March 27, 2022 vs. UNCW. The sophomore also reached the double-digit home run mark in a four-hit day.

ON-BASE GUY
OF Louie Bartletti enters the week on a 17-game on-base streak. Since April 7, Bartletti is slashing .474/.538/.842 with 18 runs, five homers, 15 RBI, and eight stolen bases.

M*A*S*H*ING ALL WEEKEND
W&M exploded for 42 combined runs in its three-game sweep of N.C. A&T on April 24-26, out-hitting the Aggies 53-22. The 21 runs in game two was the Tribe's most runs in a conference game since 2014.

'SUDA-FED
On April 28, INF Matthew Kosuda was named the CAA Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, batting .550 with seven runs, one homer, and nine RBI while slugging .900. He went a perfect 5-for-5 at the dish on April 25 at N.C. A&T, equaling the most hits by a Tribe player in a game since 2012. The redshirt freshman put together a career-long 15-game hitting streak.

TEAMING UP
On April 26, the pitching trio of Owen Pierce, Zach Boyd, and Tom Bourque teamed up to post a combined shutout in a 9-0 win at N.C. A&T, holding the Aggies to four hits. It was the Green & Gold's first team shutout since March 31, 2024 at Delaware (6-0).

DOWN BUT NEVER OUT
W&M has 12 comeback wins this season and a total of 28 under second-year head coach Rob McCoy. The Tribe has rallied for five wins when trailing by 3+ runs, most recently on April 24 at N.C. A&T.

STAT NUGGETS
- The Tribe ranks fifth in the nation in stolen bases (133) and second in stolen bases per game (2.96).

- W&M leads the CAA in triples with 15, ranking 15th nationally.

- INF Jamie Laskofski's 28 stolen bases ranks fourth in the CAA and 20th in Division I. The sophomore leads the league in batting average (.379), runs (53), triples (six), slugging (.684), and OPS (1.155).

- OF Chase Ecker is 25-for-25 stealing on the basepaths this season, ranking fifth in the CAA and 30th nationally.

- INF Matthew Kosuda has seven multi-hit games in his last nine overall.

- LHP Charlie Richwine went a career-long 4 ⅓ innings with one hit allowed and four strikeouts in relief during W&M's 5-4 win vs. Elon on May 1.

- Laskofski's grand slam vs. Charleston on April 17 was the first grand slam by a Tribe player since Ben Parker did it on April 26, 2025 at Stony Brook.

- OF Sam Kaczmarek hit his first career home run on March 31 against VMI.

- RHP Jack Weight picked up his first save on March 29, recording two outs in the ninth.

- LHP Tom Bourque worked two scoreless innings at ODU on March 24 to earn his first career save.

- Richwine registered his first career win with 3.0 innings and no earned runs on March 20 vs. N.C. A&T.

- W&M has 12 comeback wins this season. Over two-thirds (28-of-41) of W&M's wins under Rob McCoy have been of the come-from-behind variety.

LIFTED BY WEIGHT
In the month of April, RHP Jack Weight went 3-0 with a 0.53 ERA in 17 innings and a 17/3 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He went a career-high 5 ⅓ innings with no runs and four strikeouts to earn the win in the series opener at N.C. A&T.

CATCHERS WHO RAKE
Witt Scafidi ranks third among CAA catchers in batting average at .339. On April 25 at N.C. A&T, the graduate backstop collected five RBI, including his first career grand-slam.

SWIPING HISTORY
W&M broke the single-season program record for stolen bases on April 21 at Richmond when OF Sam Kaczmarek stole the team's 117th base of the season. The previous record of 116 was set in 1993. The Tribe ranks fifth in Division I in stolen bases with 133.

GOING FOR THREE
On April 14 vs. Longwood, INF Jamie Laskofski hit a pair of triples in a 3-for-5 day. He became the sixth player in modern program history to hit two triples in a game and the first since Ryan Williams on April 7, 2012 against Delaware. Laskofski's six triples ranks fourth in Division I.

PURE DOMINANCE
W&M's 13-1 win over Elon was its largest margin of victory on the season and its largest in a conference game since April 26, 2025 at Stony Brook (15-0). The three hits allowed is tied for its second-fewest in a game this year.

WELCOME BACK, ZACK
RHP Zack Potts made his return to the mound on March 29 at UNCW, pitching a scoreless inning with a strikeout in his first start in over a year. Potts was named a top-65 starting pitcher by D1Baseball after a 2024 campaign that saw him post a 3.84 ERA while leading the CAA in BB/9 (1.79) and ranking second in K/BB ratio (4.36).

WALK-OFF WINNER
INF Trey Christman delivered a walk-off single in a thrilling 11-10 victory over N.C. A&T on March 22 to clinch a series sweep. The game saw 23 combined hits, five ties, and seven lead changes. INF Kevin Francella hit a game-tying home run in the ninth before Christman's heroics. It was the first time all season the Tribe won a game when trailing after eight innings.

NEED FOR SPEED
W&M broke another modern-era school record for stolen bases with 12 against N.C. A&T on March 22. The previous record was 10 steals set earlier this year against Georgetown (March 14). INF Jamie Laskofski shattered the individual record with five stolen bases. He was one of eight Tribe players to swipe a bag.

TWO-WAY MAN
RHP/INF Jett Humphreys was recognized as the CAA Rookie of the Week for March 23. Humphreys registered three scoreless appearances on the mound in a sweep of N.C. A&T, going 2-0 with 2 ⅔ innings pitched, four strikeouts, and one hit allowed. In the batter's box, the Abingdon, Va. native went 4-for-8 with a double and three RBI. He became the first Tribe pitcher to record a hit and earn the win in the same game multiple times since Jack Cone in 2022.

MILESTONE REACHED
INF Jamie Laskofski recorded his 100th career hit in the series at Georgetown. He became the second-fastest player in the modern era to accomplish the feat, doing it in just 72 games.

FRESHMEN LEAD THE WAY
Eight freshmen have thrown innings on the mound for the Tribe this season, the most in the CAA (Charleston is second with five). The freshman class has combined to throw nearly half of W&M's innings as a team.

FAST AND FURIOUS
OF Chase Ecker stole four bases against Georgetown on March 14, tying the single-game individual record held by Tribe Hall of Famer Chris Rahl. The Tribe had 10 steals as a team, all coming from the seventh inning on.

LIGHTS OUT
RHP Stephen Christopher made his first career start on March 14, holding Georgetown scoreless over 2 ⅓ innings with a pair of strikeouts. It marked the sixth straight scoreless outing for the freshman.

JETT HAS ARRIVED
RHP/INF Jett Humphreys recorded his first career hit on March 13, going 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles. The two-way freshman went 3-for-10 with three doubles and three runs over the weekend. He also pitched a pair of scoreless innings at #14 Virginia (March 10).

BACK TO BACK
INF Matthew Kosuda earned back-to-back CAA Rookie of the Week honors (Feb. 23 and March 2). Kosuda batted .400 (4-for-10) with six runs scored and eight RBI in W&M's sweep of Lafayette. On Friday, Kosuda hit a game-tying three-run homer in the seventh inning to spark a comeback win over Lafayette as he collected four RBI.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
W&M swept the CAA weekly awards for Feb. 23 as INF Jamie Laskofski was named the CAA Player of the Week while INF Matthew Kosuda earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors.

CHOPPIN' EM DOWN
LHP Tom Bourque set a career-high in strikeouts (six) and innings pitched (4.0) in his start vs. Binghamton on Feb. 21. The redshirt junior shut out the Bearcats and allowed just one hit with no walks in the Tribe's 5-4 win.

TRIPLES ALLEY
The Tribe hit three triples in game one of the Feb. 21 doubleheader against Binghamton. It was the most triples in a game since slugging out four on Feb. 22, 2020 against Fairleigh Dickinson.

WELCOME INTRODUCTION
DH Liam O'Neil went yard in his first at-bat as a member of the Tribe, blasting a two-run homer in the second inning at Virginia Tech. He became the first Tribe player to hit a home run in his first AB with the team since Nic Britt did it on Feb. 28, 2021 at Charlotte.
