WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary baseball formally announced its 2026 signing class on Tuesday. The Tribe will welcome 18 new players this season, including 10 freshmen and eight transfers.
"We are thrilled to welcome the recruiting class of 2026!" said head baseball coach Rob McCoy. "Coach Lang did a phenomenal job identifying and recruiting the talent needed to continue our return to the top of the CAA. We addressed our needs on the mound and on defense and reloaded some offensive fire power."

Tanner Anderson
C • Paradise Valley, Ariz. • Chaparral High School
Lettered for three years at Chaparral High School… Lead team with a .387 batting average, 29 hits, nine doubles, 21 RBI, a .562 on-base percentage and a 1.162 OPS… Earned first team all-district, all-region, and all-state honors as a catcher… First Team Academic All-State selection… Named the Chaparral Men's Student-Athlete of the Year… Had a 4.3 GPA in the classroom.

Attended Osbourn Park High School before transferring to Highland School where he was named the VISAA Division II State Player of the Year… First team all-state selection… Helped lead the Hawks to a pair of VISAA Division II state championships.
Oscar Hickey
