W&M-ECU All-Time Series
Tuesday's game will mark just the third matchup in the series, as both teams have won once. ECU claimed the initial meeting, 16-6, in Greenville in 2022, while W&M won, 19-12, last season in Williamsburg.

Last Meeting vs. ECU
W&M utilized a dominant performance in the fourth quarter to earn an impressive 19-12 victory against ECU at Martin Family Stadium last season. Although the contest was knotted at 11-11 late in the third quarter, W&M closed the game by scoring eight of the final nine goals to earn the lopsided non-conference victory. Kate Draddy and Ainsley Huizenga both recorded a pair of goals during the pivotal late-game run, while Paige Gilbert also found the back of the cage during the stretch with one of her career-high six goals. Nine players contributed to W&M's season-high 19 goals, while five standouts recorded multi-goal efforts.

Last Time Out
W&M concluded its CAA road slate with a 17-4 setback at Delaware on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hens jumped out to a 7-1 advantage in the first quarter and extended the margin to 10-2 by halftime. Both teams traded goals to start the second half, but UD outscored the Tribe, 6-1, during the remainder of the contest to secure the league victory and extend its winning streak to five games. Kate Draddy (1g, 1a) and Anna Dawson (1g, 1a) led W&M (5-9, 1-6) with two points apiece, while Paige Gilbert and Alexis Savage also found the back of the cage. Gilbert and Chloe Babich added a team-high three draw controls apiece. Defensively, Claire Doto posted two caused turnovers with two ground balls, while Jaylin Locke registered three ground balls.

Century Club
Senior Paige Gilbert continued her climb in the Tribe's record book with a pair of goals in the recent contest at Stony Brook, as she eclipsed the 100-point mark. The Doylestown, Pa., native currently has 108 points (82g, 26a), which ranks 30th in program history.

Record Watch
Kate Draddy currently ranks fifth all-time at W&M in draw controls (124) and needs just 11 more to pass Molly Wannen for fourth in the Tribe's all-time record book. Ainsley Huizenga ranks tied for sixth at W&M with 122 draw controls, while Paige Gilbert (121) ranks eighth.

Overtime Success
The Tribe has won four of its last six OT games dating back to 2019.

One for the Record Books
Ainsley Huizenga and Paige Gilbert etched their names into W&M's record book during the win against VCU earlier this season, as both standouts posted a pair of the best performances in program history. Huizenga equaled a single-game school record with six assists, while Gilbert's career-best nine draw controls ranks tied for fifth in school history. Additionally, Anna Dawson scored a career-high six goals, which ranks just outside W&M's top-10 list.

CAA Player of the Week Honors
A trio of Tribe standouts have earned CAA weekly honors this season, as Kate Draddy (offensive player of the week, 2/10), Marin Wilhelm (defensive player of the week, 2/10) and Alexis Savage (rookie of the week, 3/10) have all garnered the distinction.

Team Captains
W&M is led by a quartet of team captains this season - Paige Gilbert, Kate Draddy, Claire Doto and Sophia Chiodo Ortiz - as head coach Kelyn Freedman announced the selections at the conclusion of the fall.

Academic Excellence
During the fall, W&M Athletics was once again recognized for its academic excellence as it recorded the highest Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) among all Division I public institutions. Lax helped lead the way and earned a 100% GSR for the seventh straight season.

Up Next
Following the contest at ECU, W&M will conclude its season when it hosts Campbell for Senior Day on Saturday at noon.
