WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary lacrosse freshman standout goalie
Chelsea Kim will represent the Tribe on an international stage as a member of Team Korea at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Sixes Lacrosse Championships.
The Championships, which will be held from Oct. 5-10 in Sunshine Coast, Australia, will serve as a qualifier for the 2027 World Lacrosse Sixes Championships and be the crucial first step in the qualification process for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, pending approval by the International Olympic Committee.

Kim enters her first season with the Tribe after a standout prep career at The Agnes Irwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pa., where she earned US Lacrosse All-America honors after posting a 55 percent save percentage as a senior. In addition to her national accolade, she garnered first-team All-Inter-Ac distinction and team MVP honors.
Kim played club lacrosse with one of the nation's top-ranked programs, Philly Blast, and was coached by Julie Young and Tomaino Ferri.
