His career-winning percentage remains second in school history and is one of just three Tribe men all-time to finish with a career-winning percentage over .800 (Steve Issacs and WM Athletics HOFer John McHenry '86 are the others). Sleeker's career scoring average of 75.92 was No. 2 when he graduated (behind only McHenry).

Sleeker made an immediate impact on the program by helping lead W&M to the NCAA Regional as a freshman in 1994, one of just three regional appearances in program history.  This season saw him record three top-five finishes, which still ranks t-11th all-time for W&M.  His play as a freshman earned the first of two NCAA All-District II team honors he would receive in this career (the other coming after his junior campaign in 1996). This accomplishment makes Sleeker one of just two athletes in program history to be so honored twice (the other is Trevor Sidley, 1992 and 1993).

Always ready for the big moments, Sleeker played to top-10 finishes at the CAA Championships in each of his first three years on campus.  He earned All-CAA honors in his senior season, which was the first year the league recognized more than just a "Player of the Year".

His play also earned him regional recognition, as Sleeker was named second-team All-State by the Virginia Golf Coaches Association each of his final two seasons.

Sleeker's senior year saw him play some of his best golf, as he fashioned a .915 winning percentage (696-65), which still stands as one of just three seasons of over .900 play in school history and the closest anyone has come since was current Tribe coach Tim Pemberton in 2001-02 (.857).

His junior campaign was nearly as dominant, as his .899 winning percentage (577-65) ranks eighth all-time, making him one of three to have two seasons in the top 10 listing (Issacs and McHenry).

Consistently at, or near, the top of the leader board those two seasons, his four top-five finishes during that span tie him for the third most all-time in program history.

Sleeker graduated second, and remains third, in program history with 2,557 career head-to-head wins (behind McHenry and Tim Pemberton).  His career total of 13 top-five tournament finishes is second only to McHenry (15), and four more than anyone else in program history.

Consistency was one hallmark of his time on campus, as Sleeker recorded five top-10 finishes each of his first two years of play, then improved to seven as a junior and six more as a senior.  His seven top-10 finishes in 1995-96 was the single-season record until 2004-05 (surpassed by Gary Barton '05) and still ranks second all-time.  He graduated with a program-record 23 top-10 finishes three more than McHenry and seven more than anyone has posted in the nearly 20 years since his graduation.

Sleeker was just as consistent in the classroom, as he also graduated as a two-time Academic All-America honoree, earning honors in both 1996 and 1997.
