Landry placed 13th nationally at the 2007 NCAA Cross Country Championships, joining him with fellow W&M Hall of Famers Hal Michael '71 and Matt Lane '01 as the only W&M harriers to finish in the top 15 at the event. Landry also joins Lane as the only Tribe runner to earn three NCAA XC All-American honors.
The Fall Church, Va., native also competed internationally during the 2005 season, running at the World Junior Cross Country Championships.
Landry made a pair of appearances in the NCAA Outdoor Championships, running in the 5,000m semi-finals in the 2005 and 2006 events. He is the school's sixth-best performer in the 5,000m (outdoors) and eighth-best indoors.
He was named to three USTFCCCA All-Academic honors (2006, 2007 and 2008) and earned the CAA's Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year honors in 2007.
Post-graduation, Landry continued his running career and came into his own across several different disciplines. In 2012, he ran in the U.S. Olympic Trials at 10,000m and finished 17th. Additionally, Landry ran to the 15K National Road Racing title the same year. In 2014, he was especially dynamic, running to National Road Racing titles at three distances (10-mile, 10K and 25K). Included in these efforts was an American Road Racing record time in the 25K (1:14:18).
