Yu Chen was named the CAA Player of the Week on Feb. 6.
Gurholt earned the fifth CAA Player of the Week honor of her Tribe career.
The reigning CAA Player of the Year notched her first career nationally-ranked win, topping No. 79-ranked Selma Cadar in straight-sets at No. 2 in the Tribe's dual-match with Big Ten foe Maryland on Saturday. The Tribe junior downed Cadar, 6-2, 7-5, for her sixth win in a row. She also teamed with junior
Ine Stange to clinch the doubles point with a victory at No. 2 against Maryland.
On the year, Gurholt is 11-2 overall and 3-0 in dual-match play.
Gurholt and the Tribe travel to West Virginia for a pair of matches this next weekend. W&M takes on defending Mid-American Conference Champion Toledo in a neutral site contest in Morgantown, W.Va., on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 1 p.m. The Green and Gold faces 7-1 West Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m.
