WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After a couple weeks away, William & Mary cross country returns to action, coming at the ECU Pirate Invitational on Friday, Oct. 4.
The event will be held at Lake Kristi (3933 Mobleys Bridge Rd, Grimesland, NC 27837) with the men's 8K beginning at 9 a.m. and the women's 6K to follow at 9:45 a.m.
Lake Kristi was the host site of the 2023 American Athletic Conference Championships, and most notablely, the NCAA D1 Southeast Regional Championships from 2002-05. The spectator friendly golf course is over 99% on grass (there is a brief asphalt crossing) with some rolling hills and turns which will produce fast times.
