ANNAPOLIS, Md. – William & Mary swimming won 12 total events on Saturday afternoon at Lejeune Hall and split its tri-meet against Navy and UMBC.
Both the men's and women's programs posted wins over UMBC, while the host Mids picked up two wins on each side. The men notched a 189-105 victory over the Retrievers to go along with a 153.5-113.5 setback to Navy. On the women's side, W&M won seven of the 14 events on the day to defeat UMBC, 204-90, while dropping a 170-124 decision to Navy.
Junior
Lindsay Juhlin and sophomores
Caroline Burgeson and
Aiden Bond were both triple winners on Saturday. All three swam a leg on winning Tribe relays. Juhlin won the 100 breaststroke (1:04.09) and 100 butterfly (55.38), while Burgeson and Bond both won the 50 and 100 freestyles.
Sophomore
Lauren Tucker picked up a pair of wins on the day, recording the top times in both distance events - 500 freestyle (5:02.49) and 1000 freestyle (10:23.13).
Individually on the men's side, freshman
Jackson Mueller and sophomore
Zach LeMay picked up victories. Mueller claimed the 500 freestyle in a time of 4:46.72, while LeMay won the 200 IM (1:55.48).

Ellie Scherer, Juhlin, and Burgeson picked up a win in the opening event. The quartet posted a time of 1:42.57 on Saturday.
The men's 400 freestyle relay capped the meet with a victory. The group of sophomore

Logan McDonald tallied a winning time of 3:02.90. In total, the men's team notched five victories on the day.
200 Medley Relay
Along with the winning quartet of Dunham, Scherer, Juhlin, and Burgeson, the Tribe's second team finished in the top three. The group of sophomore Julia Addison, senior

Flynn Truskett posted a time of 1:45.99 to finish ahead of UMBC's top team and the Navy 'B' group.

1000 Freestyle
Along with Tucker, junior
Kelsey Katt and senior
Devin Genderson picked up points in the 1000 free, finishing ahead of UMBC's top swimmer. Katt was fourth in a time of 10:35.19 followed by Genderson in 10:46.51.
For the men, Mueller (9:54.44) and junior
Will Glass (10:01.77) finished fourth and fifth in the 1000 free. The duo both finished ahead of UMBC's top finisher.
200 Freestyle
Yune and sophomore
Ian Cullicott placed fourth and fifth in the 200 free for the Tribe. The duo both finished ahead the top Retriever in times of 1:42.48 and 1:43.50, respectively.
100 Backstroke
Addison and Dunham both earn valuable points, placing second and third in the 100 backstroke. Both finished ahead of the top UMBC swimmer as Addison posted a time of 57.50 just ahead of Dunham's 57.53.
For the men, senior
Micah Lowe led the way with a win over UMBC. He finished third in the 100 back at 51.97.
100 Breaststroke
The top four in the women's 100 breast were separated by just 0.39 seconds. Along with Juhlin's win, Scherer placed fourth at 1:04.48.
For the men's team, Rempe and McDonald came in second and third. Rempe posted a time of 55.34, while McDonald was close behind at 56.30.
200 Butterfly
Junior
Lauren Klinefelter picked up a win over UMBC in the 200 fly, finishing third overall in a time of 2:07.48. Heilen was fourth in the event at 2:08.49.
Sophomore
Thor Dyke led the men with a fifth-place effort in the 200 fly behind a time of 1:55.93.
50 Freestyle
Along with Burgeson's win in the event, Truskett gave W&M the top-two finishers. She posted wins over both Navy and UMBC's top racers with a time of 24.11. Burgeson's time in the event was 23.90.
Bond swam a time of 20.61 to share the top spot in the 50 free with Navy's Austin Lockhart. Valliere added fifth-place effort for the men, posting a time of 20.94.
100 Freestyle
Like she did in the 50 free, Truskett provided W&M with another strong swim in the 100. She posted a third-place finish to go with Burgeson's win (52.28), finishing in a time of 52.57.
Bond's winning time in the 100 free on the men's side was 45.36.
200 Backstroke
Addison led the Tribe charge in the 200 backstroke and recorded a victory over UMBC, placing third overall in a time of 2:04.04.
Yune also posted a win over UMBC, finishing fourth behind a 1:53.34 in the 200 back.
200 Breaststroke
Scherer and freshman
Thomas Duncan both picked up wins over UMBC and finished third overall in the 200 breaststroke. Scherer posted a 2:22.49 for the women, while Duncan notched a 2:09.76 on the men's side.
100 Butterfly
Along with Juhlin's event win, sophomore
Clara Bodnar also finished ahead of UMBC's top swimmer, placing third overall in the event in at 55.38.
McDonald and Cosgrove gave W&M a second and third-place finishes for the men in the 100 fly. McDonald recorded a time of 50.58 followed by Cosgrove's 51.28.
200 IM
W&M posted three of the top four times in the women's 200 IM. Scherer was second (2:08.69) followed by freshman
Tess Lankford in third (2:08.85) and sophomore
Kaitlyn Conover-Emmert (2:08.96) in fourth. The trio was separated by just 0.27 seconds but all gained valuable points in finishing ahead of Navy's No. 2 finisher and UMBC's top performer.
Along with LeMay's win on the men's side, Duncan finished second in a time of 1:56.61.
400 Freestyle Relay
The quartet of Dunham, Burgeson, freshman
Healey Morgan, and Truskett closed out the meet with a second-place showing in the 400 free relay. The time of 3.29.37 was good for a victory over UMBC in the dual-meet setting.
